Get Sketchy Challenge

When I saw the sketch challenge on Get Sketchy this week I knew almost instantaneously what I wanted to do.

Get Sketchy 10

Get Sketchy 10

The bonus is too do a handwritten sentiment or use doodling.

Here’s the card I made:

Get Sketchy Halloween

Get Sketchy Halloween

The patterned paper I used is from My  Mind’s Eye.  I thought this was perfect for a night sky so I doodled some stars on it with a white gel pen.  I used my Cricut to cut the moon out of yellow cardstock.  I had these little mini Halloween stamp sets by Studio G sitting around for a couple of weeks.  I stamped the little bat several times across the moon.  I also stamped the bat one more time on another piece of CS and cut him out and popped him off the moon.  I made this a gate fold card and I couldn’t get it to stay closed!  So I added a little hand-written sentiment and popped it off one side.  To close the card I just slip the side of the moon under the sentiment.
