Well I’m not sure if I signed up in time to be included in the Unity Friends with Flair.  Just in case I have a post anyway.  Plus I used an “edible” stamp…well, the stamp is not edible…it is of something edible.  You all knew that, right?  ??!?  LOL  So here it is:

Lets see, what did I use to make this card?  Oh no, don’t ask me!  I don’t remember who that pattern paper is by.  I do know I bought it at Target though, does that help?  Stamps are from Unity’s September Kit of the Month.  I love that sentiment, it’s pretty don’t ya think?  I added some buttons and a little distress stickles to the pumpkin, maybe you can see it in the close up:

Then it needed something else.  I think a little ric-rac helped, don’t you?

Thanks for looking!

So I signed up for the Unity Friends with Flair thing.  So I guess I have to post a card, huh?  🙂  I’m not in a blog posting mood today.  I don’t know why.  From the looks of it, I haven’t been in a blog posting mood for over a week now.  I hope that changes.  I like sharing my cards with everyone.  I had a card I made with the pumpkin stamp from the September KOTM, but I didn’t get a picture of it taken yet.  So instead you all get to see my peacock card.  Here ya go:

This is the first time I’ve tried one of these circle cards.  I just used my Cricut to cut out the scalloped circles.  I’m just glad I’m getting more use out of that machine.  I stamped the peacock image with Versamark and then embossed it with a red/gold sparkly embossing powder.  I believe the brad is from K & Co.

I think it needs something else (and not what you said Katy!), but I don’t know what.  Any thoughts?

Thanks for looking!

I didn’t think I’d get my card done for this week.  I was busy, busy.  Went to Target and they had LOTS of scrapbooking goodies on clearance.  I can’t wait to play with them!  So anyway, some of us friends have been picking a theme each week for HHH (now Friends with Flair).  What we do is choose a type of stamp, or one with a common theme and we all do our card like that.  Next week we are going to do flying things (balloons, birds..hmm…I don’t know what else, oh!  Butterflies!)   Now, you don’t have to do the theme thing if you don’t want to, just use any old Unity stamp.  But it’s kinda fun seeing everyone elses take on the “theme.”  This week we used a Unity stamp for our background, either a background stamp or any Unity stamp to make a background.  I guess I was really -feelin’ the joy!  🙂

When I visited my parents last weekend I took this picture of this dying dill plant.  It was my inspiration for the card.
