I love you Friday

January.22.2010

Wow, it has been a long time since I have joined in on the Friday fun.

I don’t use black on cards very often.  But I had this cool black paper in my stash and finally decided to use it.  I stamped the tree from Growing in Unity in black and then colored the background with my brand new Copic markers (love them!)  Then I covered the whole image with Tim Holtz Hard Candy Crackle Paint.  It turned out pretty cool.  Let me show you a close-up.

Isn’t that cool?

I made 3 cards today!

I don’t like this one.  Something about it, it’s just not my style.

I like this one a little better.

Maybe because it is blue.

I like blue.

I have the image on the next card stamped for months.

Just couldn’t figure out what to do with it.

I put Glossy Accents on the vases.  Don’t they look cool.

A card for Thursday

August.27.2009

Hey everyone!  I have a card to share with you today:

Butterfly Blessings

Butterfly Blessings

This one has a mix of Unity and Hero Arts Stamps.  I just loved Jennifer McGuire’s white crayon technique with the Tim Holtz Distressing Inks that I had to try it myself.  I think it looks so cool.

Butterfly Blessings Close-Up

You can tell in the close-up that I put some paper glaze on the butterfly to give it some shine.

Thanks for looking!
